Summary of Position:

Accountable to direct all administrative and clinical aspects of nutritional care for patients followed by the Transplant Team. Manages all nutrition programs for the Transplant Team including inpatient and outpatient services. Provides nutrition programs for individual and group education in conformance with transplant standards and guidelines. Serve as a resource of nutrition expertise in the interdisciplinary care process providing recommendations and education to physicians and other providers in the MMC network and community. Participates in research activities in the MMC network, medical school, and other accredited facilities. Participates in planning and execution of marketing/advocacy services to the community and budget development for transplant programming. Formulates, implements, and monitors performance improvement to sure compliance with the goals of MMC and standards of regulatory agencies.




Completion of an accredited program in nutrition, registration with the ADA, and certification with the NYS Department of Education.

Masters required in Nutrition or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical and community nutrition.

Research and education experience highly preferred
