ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR

BRONX, NY, US


This position will provide support to the Associate VP of Ambulatory Services.   In addition, this position will respond to all requests from, managers, physicians, residents, department chair, and administrator and will be responsible for processing all confidential paperwork and will provide coverage for the department managers in their absence as well as develop, integrate and assume responsibility for a combination of department administrative operations and practice functions to ensure a high quality operation.   

 

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendar for Associate VP.  
  • Answer phones for administrative suite.
  • Is the facility liaison for all support services in lease property; cleaning, security, food, IT telecommunications, engineering.
  • Ensures support services for the faculty practices, OR, Radiology and RX are met. 
  • Maintains regulatory personnel files and in-services managers.
  • TJC sweeps for building. Reviews and prepares action plans; document deficiencies for department to correct. 
  • Will organize various events and initiatives within the entire facility; such as  flu shots, OHS, and site visitor events. 
  • Process and track all check requests, travel and dues reimbursement requests, and purchase requisitions. 
  • Oversee payroll process for all faculty practices. Manages metro card program for facility. 
  • Prepare and process all SAP HCM workflows including but not limited too; Activating a Budgeted Position, Leaves of Absence, Termination, Cost Center changes and etc.
     

 

Education and Requirements:

 

Bachelor Degree is required.

Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, will use Excel to create various reports.

Two - Five years of office experience.
