The Assistant Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of patient care for the 15 multi-clinical specialties by providing direction and direct oversight for the clinical management and indirectly, support staff (LPN’s & medical assistants), and in the absence of the physicians, providing clinical insight and support for the practice’s non-clinical staff.  


  • Responsible for managing clinical and operational leadership to ensuring adherence to standards of quality care, as well as for identifying and resolving systems issues and personnel problems.
  • Will provide direction to the clinical managers in developing standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and implementing new programs.
  • Establish orientation program for all clinical staff and work with managers to develop routine evaluation process. 
  • Ensure regulatory compliance through monitoring and education.  Manages process to ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures of MMC and regulatory agencies. Monitor system for providing triage of telephone and in-person patient requests for care.  
  • Develop and implement systems for monitoring the administration and distribution of medications by the practice.  
  • Provide practice administrative coverage as needed. 
  • Coordinate nursing and clinical support staff. In collaboration with the clinical managers, interview, train, evaluate, and discipline clinical support staff (RNs, LPNs and PCTs.) 




Bachelor's Degree is required, Master's Degree preferred.

Valid NYS RN License and Registration.

BLS Card

Infection Control Certificate.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service; includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. interpersonal skills in dealing with clinicians, administrative, front-line associates and outside vendors.
