CLINICAL DIRECTOR VALUE ANALYSIS

BRONX, NY, US


Responsible for leading the facility based Clinical Value Analysis Committee for the health system. The Clinical Director of Value Analysis will provide clinical and literature supported expertise that facilitates various supply utilization management strategies across the system.  Works collaboratively with colleagues in Procurement/Supply Chain to develop, implement and adopt common goals, strategies and best practices.

 

Manages a multidisciplinary Clinical Value Analysis Committee  to drive  Health System value opportunities  into local Clinical Value Analysis processes. Will work in partnership with Procurement/Supply Chain to support all health system facilities to implement a  Clinical Value Analysis program.

 

Represents the Clinical Value Analysis Committee  across all health system facilities in working with Procurement/Supply Chain partners. Represents MHS internally and externally as  the clinical champion focused primarily on patient care products. Partners with physician providers to drive processes on identifying and realizing opportunities on physician preferred items.

 

Develops strategy to identify opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and/or supply expense management. Leads multidisciplinary teams across the health system to drive standardize commodity items and develop processes to  manage new product introduction or utilization guidelines.

 

Will utilize various tools and/or resources to identify product utilization, supply expense reduction, and/or clinical outcome improvement opportunities for the organization.  

 

Will utilize influencer and negotiator skills to move groups to decision points.

 

Must demonstrate ability to relate to, and gain support and consensus with stakeholders.

 

NYS RN license required. Bachelor's degree-BSN required. Master's degree preferred.  Minimum of 10 years of Nursing experience required.  Project Management experience preferred.    Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
