CLINICAL FACULTY

Assesses, develops, conducts, and evaluates educational programs topromote staff development and the delivery of quality patient care.Coaches and mentors staff.

 

OPERATING ROOM experience preferred!

 

The Clinical Faculty maintains standards of the practice for nursing as defined by the AmericanNurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing’s SocialPolicy Statement.
The Clinical Faculty actualizes the vision, mission, values, balanced scorecard and performancemeasures for Montefiore Medical Center.
The Clinical Faculty participates in performance improvement/research activities; maintainsprofessional practice standards and clinical expertise; and demonstrates leadership skills. The
Clinical Faculty demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served.
Provides Montefiore associates and its community with high quality learning activities, guidance,and instruction to facilitate learning and ongoing growth and development.

 

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
a.Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse license required.
b.Master’s degree in nursing or the equivalent.
c.Three years of active nursing experience and one year of relevant teaching experience.
