Customer Service Specialist
*Please Note- This is NOT an Emergency Room position*
Facilitate patient/family/caregiver communication with physicians, nurses, and other MMC staff. Manage and resolve complaints and issues by interacting and listening to patients/families/visitors. Demonstrates compassion, sympathy and understanding for patient/family/caregiver/visitor experience and concerns. Identify and document their concerns and coordinate investigations to resolve them in a timely manner per hospital protocols and regulatory requirements. Assists with visitation management.
Bachelor's degree required.
At least 1 year of Healthcare, Customer Service, Hospitality or related experience.
Bilingual: Spanish/English
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Competency in active listening, non-verbal assessment, anger management, and composure.
Proficiency with computer skills, email and other office applications.
Basic ability to manage and analyze data, and generate reports.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues, notice trends and recommend corrective action.
EPIC experience preferred.
