DIVISION ADMINSTRATOR

BRONX, NY, US


Manage daily operations of clinical and academic programs of a division consisting of physicians, fellows, research staff and administrative staff.
• Prepare divisional annual budget and monitor financial activity to maintain compliance with the budget.  
• Analyzes internal processes and plans or implements procedural and policy changes to improve operations.
• Prepares and reviews operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.  Determine budgetary needs by analyzing short and long-term program plans. 
• Collaborates with Division Chief to develop and implement strategic plans for faculty recruitment, growth and operations of clinical and integrated practice models and research development. 
• Work with faculty to improve productivity, quality standards and research growth opportunities.
• Interprets and administers personnel policies such as hiring, performance appraisals, training, staff disciplinary activity and salary recommendations. 
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations regarding equal pay and equal employment. 
• Facilitates creation of training programs. Conducts training for staff to carry out departmental programs and services. 
• Facilitate implement quality assurance programs to meet standards and regulations of federal, state and city accrediting agencies.
• Ensure standards and regulations of accrediting agencies such as Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare (JCAHO) and New York State and City Department of Health are met.
• Plan, direct and oversee all administrative operations, human resources, and clinical services. 

 

Bachelor's Degree Required
