The Editor-in-Chief is generally responsible for running and managing all aspects of the Norwood News, which includes a bi-weekly print edition, the paper’s website and social media presences and any other ad hoc programming incluing Bronx Youth Heard, the organization’s after-school youth journalism program.

Manages the daily administrative activities for a designated department. Arranges and coordinates meetings and events, and prepares and maintains confidential records, reports, and correspondence. Supervises, schedules and evaluates the work of clerical staff.

Minimum education is at least an undergraduate degree in Communications with excellent writing skills, and at least 2-3 years of experience working at a newspaper.
