FINANCIAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR

The FINANCIAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR position serves in a support and advisory role to assist the Director of Business and Clinical Affairs in the Financial Management of the Department and in meeting financial goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Utilize databases, as well as data query and analysis to identify discrepancies and reconcile data.
- Prepare submission for Capital requests and enter in Strata.
- Prepare financial variance and other reports.
- Enters HCM transactions, (New Hires, Terminations, Cost Allocation Changes, etc. )
- Reviews purchase requisitions, employee reimbursement and accounts receivables.
- Oversee payroll, including, Faculty Time Away, On Call pay, Session Pay, Distribution & other various supplemental pay.
- Calculate and manage incentive pay programs.
- Assist with Pro Formas, Business Plans and NPRF submissions.
- Obtains grant funding changes from Einstein administrator and ensures that salaries are properly allocated to grants in HCM in a timely manner.
- Special projects as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Required in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Business Admin., or related field.
- 5 year’s work experience
- Ability to formulate various mathematical calculations for financial analysis.
- Accounting and book keeping concepts.
- Knowledge of SAP, HCM, Strata, Excel, and other Financial systems
