GRANTS WRITER

BRONX, NY, US


The Grants Writer works as part of the Grants Management team of program, finance, and executive leadership. The Grants Writer assists the Grants Manager with all grant-related activities, including writing grant proposals and reports, identifying new funding opportunities, coordinating existing grants, and managing the schedule of grant deadlines.

The Grants Writer will also work with clinical and administrative teams to gather relevant information and maintain organized records of program-wide activities and updates.

 

Bachelors degree required.  Study focus in public health, public administration, public policy or other related field preferred.

A minimum of 1 year of experience preferred. 

Excellent writing and communications skills.

Superior analytic and organizational skills.

Excellent  detail orientation and time management skills.

Proficiency with computerized spreadsheets and database systems.

Ability to work independently and produce high quality work. 

Flexibility in approach and willingness to adapt when necessary. 

Proactive and action-oriented personality.

Ability and experience working productively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong interpersonal skills and proven problem-solving skills.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
