The Human Resources Director/Business Partner will provide a range of Human Resources services to support the business units in meeting its business objectives and business initiatives. The Human Resources Director/Business Partner will consult with management in handling staffing requirements, employee relations issues and associates' needs. 

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources Operations, he/she is actively involved in planning for organization initiatives and staying abreast of Human Resources trends in the marketplace. The Director serves as a consultant strategist for the following areas: rewards and recognition, performance management and discipline, recruitment and retention, and Human Resources transactions. This position is involved in the initial investigation and resolution of contractual disputes and grievances and functions as a Hearing Officer for Third Step hearings. This position is actively involved in developing short and long range planning for the business units.

Master's degree is required, concentration preferred in Human Resources Management, Education, Psychology or Business, as well as experience in Healthcare. Demonstrated client focus and collaboration skills. Strong Labor Relations, EEO/AA, diversity, and Human Resources Regulatory knowledge and experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Minimum of 7 years experience required, preferably in Healthcare. Experience in Recruitment helpful.  PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
