HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST

BRONX, NY, US


This position provides a broad range of Human Resources support services to the Faculty Practice Group.  Responsibilities include: staffing and recruitment, employee relations,  training and compliance activities, processing position management, HR transactions and administrative support. This position will interpret medical center HR policies and union contract provisions to ensure that the  assigned division’s human resources operations are consistently applied and high level HR outcomes are achieved. This position will be responsible for administrative functions to support HR and Faculty Practice Group including calendar management, phone triage, preparation for presentations, reporting, events and special projects. Performs related duties as required.  

 

Education/Skills:

 

Bachelor's Degree.

Personnel and Human Resources — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
Effective communication skills, judgment and decision making.
Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
