Prepares and provides equipment, supplies, and general support to the Attending Physicians, Resident Physicians & CRNAs in multiple locations and Campuses before, during, and after medical and other technical procedures. The primary site is the operating suites in the Moses/Einstein/Wakefield/Hutchinson divisions, but multiple other sites are utilized for the administration of anesthesia within Moses/Einstein/Wakefield and Hutchinson.

Job Duties

  • Cleans, sterilizes and sets up all types of anesthesia equipment
  • Assists anesthesia provider with monitoring, transport, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management
  • Provides daily maintenance of all equipment and troubleshoots malfunctions
  • Maintains a sufficient inventory of all equipment and supplies
  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs
  • Certification a plus ($3000.00  yearly stipend)


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of healthcare experience in Anesthesia or relating to (surgical) airways
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.)
  • Infectious and Sterilization Experience is required
  • Anesthesia Tech Certification Required
