LEAD SPEC. PROC. TECHNOL. CARDIOVASCULAR

Assist with diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures including but not limited to peripheral and coronary angioplasty/stent, atherectomy, laser, coronary ultrasound, temporary cardiac assist devices, mitral clip, TAVR, ablations, device implantation, lead and device extraction/explant.

 

Bachelor's Degree in Science/Math/Technology Field

2 years of experience scrubbing in for invasive cardiac and/or vascular (CV) procedures of 1-year experience scrubbing in on invasive CV procedures and RCIS or RCES certification

BLS and PALS required

Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS or RCES), or RT (RCI) or other deemed acceptable certification or degree (Foreign-trained Medical Doctorate with deemed appropriate experience will be considered.

Refer a dedicated Lead Special Procedure Technologist with talent, skill, and experience to join our dynamic Cardiology Department – Cath Lab & EP Lab

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree; 2 years of experience in scrubbing in for invasive cardiac and/or vascular procedures, or 1 year of experience in scrubbing in on invasive cardiovascular procedure plus RCIS and/or RCES certification; RCIS or RT (R, CI) or other deemed acceptable certification or degree (Foreign-trained Medical Doctorate with deemed appropriate experience will be considered)

Full time and Part-Time ONLY (day, evening, and night shifts only – does not apply to per diem positions; the amount for the part-time positions will be prorated.)

Referral Program:

  • This program is only for associates who refer experienced full time Lead Special Procedure Technologist for the Cardiology Department.
  • $1,250 will be paid out the month the new associate starts, with an additional $1,250 to be paid out following the successful completion of the new associate’s first (1st) year.
  • This Associate Referral Program is open to Montefiore Medical Center associates as outlined in HR Policy ll-4b.

How to submit a referral:

Locate a Lead Special Procedure Technologist requisition for Cardiology Department, Cath Lab/EP Lab (posting will indicate ARP eligible), and use the “Refer a Friend” option via the Talent Management System.  All referrals must have a current resume attached at the time of referral and will be tracked via the Talent Management System.
