MANAGER COST OUTLIER HEALTH SERVICES REC

BRONX, NY, US


This position is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining professional cost outlier chart reviews that ensure complete and accurate posted charges, preparation of appeals to maximize the resolution of cost outlier charges denials and identification of charge capture weaknesses.  The incumbent works with ancillary departments to strengthen our charge system, provides support to the department and Medical Center on a clinical basis.  This professional is required to have a broad knowledge of medical procedures, good analytical skills and strong interpersonal communication skills.

 

Education/Skills:

 

Bachelor's degree.

Currently licensed and registered R.N.

Two years experience in Utilization Review or other relevant positions with previous medical record review experience.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

P.C. literacy preferred.
