MANAGER OUTPATIENT RECEIVABLES

BRONX, NY, US


The Cash Posting and Correspondence Manager  (Manager Outpatient Receivables) has overall responsibility of the daily management of the Hospital and Central Business office Cash Departments to ensure accurate reconciliation, posting, reporting and allocation of an estimated annual amount of $3B dollars.  Monitors daily work-flows, quality metrics and productivity of staff to ensure standards are met.  Responsible for driving efficiency and automation in the management of the correspondence scanning and work allocation processes.  Works closely with finance to ensure all cash is accounted for.  Responsible to monitor, approve and ensure compliance with Hospital guidelines as well as any Federal and State laws. Collaborates with Senior leadership on KPI metrics to achieve highest productivity.

 

Education/Skills:

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

1. High School/GED required, Bachelors Degree in Business Analytics, Economics/Statistics, Finance, Business Management, Finance, Healthcare administration or a related field preferred.

2. Three to five years of related health care administration/financial or revenue cycle experience required with preferred experience in Cash Management.   

3. Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills required. Strong data management and computer skills including reporting and database terminology, development of spreadsheets, analysis and manipulation of complex data from multiple data sources.

4. Strong computer and systems application skills. Advanced MS Excel skills required.  

5. Knowledge of EPIC enterprise system required.
