OPERATIONS MANAGER

BRONX, NY, US


The Senior Operations Manager is an operational and strategic leader for Invasive Cardiology, inclusive but not limited to Cardiac Catheterization, Structural Heart, Heart Failure  Invasive Procedures,  TEE, and assists with the overall management in the area. This individual is responsible for all daily operations and strategic planning, including program budgets, revenue cycle performance, compliance with policies & regulatory affairs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and executing initiatives that will support program growth and excellent standards of patient care. The Sr. Operations Manager collaborates with senior management and other leaders, as well as a wide array of hospital, faculty, and others, and oversee operations for faculty practice and acute care activities on  Moses and Weiler campuses.

 

This position manages personnel and is responsible for the hiring and termination of associates. This individual exercises independent judgment. The position has leadership responsibility and reports directly to the Director of Nursing for Invasive Cardiology. In collaboration with Section-Head and Director of Nursing coordinates, and evaluates departmental systems, administrative, quality, safety, and risk management issues’ fiscal, human and other resources within the Invasive Cardiology Department.

 

Requirements:

Master’s Degree, preferred

Bachelor’s Degree, required

Experience in Healthcare, preferrable Cardiology

At least five years of work experience, knowledge of billing systems and EPIC

Certification/further education in a proven team development methodology (eg. Lean Six Sigma) preferred

Effective management skills necessary to organize, direct, and evaluate the activities of hospital personnel

Analytical skills necessary for problem-solving and decision making

Excellent communication skills

Excellent teamwork skills

Adapts well to change

Proficient with customer service principles

Ability to manage multiple priorities
