OPERATIONS MANAGER

BRONX, NY, US


Patients gain immediate access to high-quality ambulatory surgery and subspecialty care in a convenient location off the Hutchinson River Parkway. The Hutchinson Campus is home to multiple specialties and services under one roof—and often on the same floor—which allows for greater physician collaboration, easier referrals, and joint consultations and shorter wait times.     

 

Responsibilities include supervision/direction of scheduling, registration/verification, data collection and front end processing (cash collection) of all patients. Resolve all operational issues and complaints to promote patient satisfaction. Supervision of all patient registration includes: collection of demographic data and insurance information; cash collection and deposit preparation, including the coordination of payment arrangements and patient deferral policies for self-pay patients; data entry into clinical and billing systems; act as a patient advocate for patient concerns/waiting times. 

 

Education/skills required:

 

  • High school Diploma or equivalent coupled with five (5) years work experience; Associates degree preferred
  • High administrative management skills specific to ambulatory, hospital, health care setting and/or a health care regulatory agency.
  • Experience managing a fast-paced, high volume practice is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated skill in working with and building high performing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management.
  • Strong performance management and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in EPIC, Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications.
  • Skilled in data analysis and development of comprehensive reports
