PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT MANAGE

Manages the daily activities for a designated administrative function.Prepares and monitors the budget, implements policies and procedures,and monitors program outcomes. Supervises, trains and evaluatesprofessional and support staff.

 

Qualifications/Responsibilities:

This position performs the critical skill set of coordination and planning, system/process improvement development, consultation and advisory role, data analysis and reporting for the department of Perioperative Services. This role will primarily work on data analysis, process and quality improvement, reporting, and evaluating the processes, resources, analytics, and technology involved in this complex and dynamic area. Assist with new and/or revised initiatives, processes, and projects in order to achieve the vision and goals of Montefiore and the Department of Perioperative Services.

 

Graduate Degree preferred in associated field such as Operations Research, Public Health, and Industrial Engineering.

 

Minimum of three to five years of experience in similar role in health care setting (preferably in the acute hospital setting.)

 

Experience in data analysis, and process improvement activities required. LEAN or Six Sigma experience highly recommended. C omprehensive knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel,
Visio, PowerPoint, and Project. Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with clinicians, administrative and front-line associates.
