CPP is a federally qualified health center cluster with NCQA’s Patient Center Medical Home Level 3 Recognition since 2011. Our community health center and homeless healthcare program provide comprehensive primary care in pediatrics, women’s health and adult/family medicine. From its inception in 1987, CPP has valued the role of a co-located integrated behavioral health teams in its primary care practices.

CPP strives to close the gap in health disparities through multi-disciplinary special health initiatives that target prevalent health conditions. Examples include CPP’s Resiliency Initiative focusing on building healthy parent-child relationships and understanding the role that social determinants of health play in the well-being of the communities we serve; Terra Firma, is a medical-legal partnership for unaccompanied immigrant children and families seeking humanitarian protection.


Attend and participate in meetings during normal duty hours, including staff conferences, quality improvement meetings, staff meetings, and weekly mental health meetings.

Conduct psychological counseling and employ procedures and techniques, to include interviewing, behavioral assessment, evidenced-based therapies, and Crisis intervention in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological disorders for Individuals, groups, couples, families, children and adults.

Consult with other mental health and medical personnel professionals in the clinic.

Maintain accurate and current notes and records


Valid NYS license, PhD or PsyD.

Completed an APA accredited internship/fellowship in professional psychology

Experience and/or /interest in a community-based setting.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly desired.
