PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

BRONX, NY, US


To expedite patients throughout Radiology in a timely fashion with primary focus in Emergency Room Catscan and Direct Radiography Imaging (ED) room  and MRI department. Responsible for self coverage on a 24/7 basis.  Inpatient management and emergency department facilitator.  Obtain relevant history, perform a complete or focused physical exam and procures; previous diagnostic testing results. Emergency treatment of any/all contrast adverse reactions resulting from IV administration of same, including follow up. Occasional Interventional procedure participation in the monitoring and/care of acutely ill patients.

 

Must be a graduate of an approved PA program.

 

Bachelor’s degree required.

Graduate of an accredited Physician’s Assistant program.

Registered as a Physician’s Assistant in New York State. NCCPA certified

Must obtain 100 credits of approved CME every two years
