We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join our well-established and dynamic group led by internationally renowned physician specialists. As part of our amazing Cardiovascular Nuclear Medicine team, you will be collaborating with physician and other healthcare providers for planning, evaluation, coordination and facilitation of all facets of care for these patients and their families. You are expected to demonstrate advanced and diverse clinical knowledge and skills in the capacity of clinicians, educator, researcher, collaborator and patient advocate to provide both direct and indirect patient care in a semi-autonomous, self-directed role in accordance with professional standards and clinical expertise.


 Job Summary:

You will be working with a team of Clinical Practice Providers, Nurses and Technicians to evaluate and manage patients as it pertains to Cardiovascular Nuclear Medicine.  Duties will be comprised of the management of patients in an Inpatient/ Outpatient setting and include: Pre-procedure and post procedure assessments for patients undergoing Cardiovascular Nuclear Medicine exams- including H&Ps, place orders, obtain consent, evaluate stability of patient, provide patient education obtain prior authorizations for new medications on discharge.  As you grow further in this dynamic academic environment, you will have additional opportunities available such as exam interpretation, research and education.



Bachelor’s Degree

A minimum of 1year experience

Must be a graduate of an approved PA program.  Licensed and registered in New York State.  Must pass National Certification Exam and must pass National Recertification Exam every six years.  Must obtain 100 credits of approved CME every two years.
