Montefiore's Department of Pediatrics/Adolescent Medicine-Adolescent Aids Program is seeking a Director of Programs 


As A Director of Programs, You Will: 

Function as a member of the Adolescent AIDS Program's Executive Committee.  This position participates in strategic planning, program design and development to meet the unique needs adolescents. The Director oversees and provides direct support to AAP programs including administrative, personnel-related operations and fiscal management.  This position is responsible for the supervision, both direct and indirect, of 13 associates.  The Director administers research and service grants including the National Institutes of Health (NIH); Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA); New York State Department of Health (AIDS Institute); New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH); Gilead Pharmaceuticals; Northeast/Caribbean AIDS Education and Training Center Program (AETC); and private foundations.  This position also oversees budget preparation and management of expenses as well as compliance with Medical Center standards as well as regulatory bodies.  


As A Director of Programs, You Require: 

  • A Master's Degree
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience
  • Experience in the field of HIV/AIDS education, treatment and services
  • Knowledge of data systems such as EPIC, HCM, eShare, AIRS and Microsoft office products including Word and Excel
