The Learning & Development Program Manager provides in-person and virtual classes and workshops to enhance the professional and leadership skills of Montefiore associates at all levels of the organization. This individual partners with internal and external key stakeholders to identify and diagnose learning and development needs, creates and delivers learning programs to address those needs, establishes and manages vendor relationships, and builds and maintains a portfolio of resources to accommodate the learning and development goals of the organization. This individual is also responsible for monitoring the quality and effectiveness of the learning programs provided through analysis of learner assessments and course evaluation data, and for identifying and incorporating revisions for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills and experience in designing, developing, planning, delivering, facilitating, and overseeing learning and leadership development programs that build associate knowledge, skills, and abilities.




Master's Degree.  Two years' experience.

Learning, assessment, facilitation, or development certifications are a plus (examples: DDI IM Essentials Certified Facilitator, DiSC Personality Assessment, etc.)

Superior facilitation skills.
• Minimum 3 years’ total experience in learning & development roles.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging instructor-led learning activities both as in-person instructor-led training (ILT) and as virtual instructor-led training (VILT)
• Ability to apply instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills; proficiency with visual design a plus.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work with internal clients in a consulting capacity. 
• Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues across multiple functional areas of the organization.
• Experience delivering leadership development programs.
• Experience delivering training content to support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
