Provides primary support to the Clinical Data Analyst (CDA) RN through identification of taxonomy trends in the electronic event reporting system as entered by front line staff and categorized by MIDAS + leadership.  Assist with performance improvement projects, through knowledge of process tools, to aide the CDA to effect change in poorly designed systems. Coordinate the education to all MMC associates (front line and managerial) and identify trends in data requiring re-education re. the appropriate use of the system.  Assumes primary responsibility for educating all MMC associates on the mechanism to enter an adverse event, near miss or unsafe condition in the electronic MIDAS+ reporting system. Modify educational plans to ensure that teaching is incorporated into practice changes.    Communication with clinical and support staff leadership related to system abilities and development of data collection methodologies.  Develop focus studies to assist with data collection. Prepare and provide verbal presentations regarding quality reported data trends at leadership meetings.  Assume primary responsibility to prepare and distribute weekly leadership reports for use as a quality tool.


3-5 Years of experience in a healthcare provider setting. Must be articulate, personable and capable of speaking in front of large audiences for training purposes. Experience with Excel.  Knowledgeable of spreadsheets and MS Office Suite familiarity.  Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with a heavy workload managing competing priorities. Good communication skills with the ability to facilitate small group discussions.  

Maintains proficiency in MIDAS+ system with ability to create and run requested data reports, and troubleshoot with clinical teams mechanisms for MIDAS+ application to assist with data collection.

Associate Degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred. 
MIDAS + Certification required.
