PROJECT MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR

BRONX, NY, US


In this role, you will perform office management and organizational tasks to ensure smooth operations for the  Directors, and managers. Interacts with end-uses, outside consultants, vendors and executive level personnel on a daily basis to define, ensure and evaluate high levels of service.  Provide follow-up on the activities of  Directors and managers overseeing the scheduling of daily workloads and task(s) assignments, maintain the base station for communication with end-users, outside consultants, vendors, and all levels of hospital personnel.  Ability to initiate problem analysis and solutions.  Responsibilities will include composing and translating correspondence resulting from meetings,assembling and distributing materials. Responsible for maintaining the program/associate files, documentation, operating procedures and users procedures. 

 

Associates' Degree required.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Maintain Calendar for Director and Managers, schedule meeting as requested.

Maintaining and adjusting inventory levels in the storeroom.

Placing orders for replenishment.

Organization of the storeroom. 

Manage job directives assigned by your superior.

• Create purchase orders for stock and non-stock supplies for  Moses

• Order all instruments for the trays in Central Supply.
• Make inventory adjustments and create labels for the departmental pars.
• Check for expired items throughout Central Supply Store Room.
• Review and reconcile departmental invoices.

• Keep track of all rental equipment such as Hyperthermia units, IV and feeding pumps.

• Keep track of Kangaroo pumps that go out for repairs.
• Order suction regulators for Moses and Einstein and also keep track of repairs.

 Renewal of contracts for IV and feeding pumps for Moses and Einstein.
• Report any repairs or issues to Bio Engineering, Engineering, Environmental Services, Locksmith, or Security.
• Set up the shoe mobile and order all uniforms.

•  Answer calls and emails in regards to patient floors needing medical supplies.

• Assist customers on the phone and help them get the supplies from Storeroom or any additional information they may be requesting.

• Charge out supplies to the units.

• Work on special projects including the new initiation of the JumpStock system.

• Involve in the DC Renovation and sterilization to meet JCAHO requirements.

• Assist in assigning the work to the associates when the managers are not available.
• Maintain Associate’s file with updated certifications if needed.

.  Order office supplies.

• Print out labels at the Associate’s request.
