Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating all aspects of the project.  Core responsibilities include developing work plans, scheduling activities, facilitating staff training, organizing site-based initiatives, working with leaders on project strategy, designing workflows, and making programmatic recommendations.



  • Works with departmental leadership and laboratory clinical and administrative and leadership to ensure successful outcomes aligned with departmental vision and goals
  • Prepares project work plans and timeliness for implementation of related activities
  • Collaborates with leadership in transforming processes, designing new workflows, developing or revising policies and procedures and implementing new systems as required
  • Develops technical expertise in all aspects of project development and disseminates that expertise across the department
  • Performs administrative functions related to the project such data reporting, and other office-based functions
  • Prepares agendas and facilities department and site-based meetings
  • Trains staff on project principles and offers technical assistance as needed
  • Provides assistance with other duties as needed



  • Bachelor’s Degree required, master’s in business administration, Public Administration, Public Health or other advanced degree preferred
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently are required
  • All MS Office suite skills required
  • Previous project management experience preferred


This position is in Pathology Administration. The hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
