Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for auditing, coordinating and managing the patient's records to ensure compliance with department policy and procedure as well as accrediting agencies.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
5 years work experience in field
Radiation Therapy License
Candidate must have a NYS DOH licensure in Radiologic Technology, Must have ARRT board certification and must have a minimum of 5 years Radiation Therapy experience
Knowledgeable in Megavoltage equipment ( linear accelerators)
Knowledgeable with record and verify systems
Knowledgeable with ct-simulators
Proficiency in all computer data management and applications such as word processing, graphing, statistical display and use of spreadsheets.
Use of PC to perform daily routine operations; fax machine, copy machine, scanner.
Knowledgeable with billing operations
Knowledgeable with keeping up to date on accrediting agency requirements.
