QUALITY IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST

To lead, monitor, coordinate, plan, teach, coach, present and implement performance improvement initiatives, including patient safety and quality improvement activities of the BMT and other programs within the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Division. Understand the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT )standards and ensure program compliance.
Ensure the overall Quality Management Program is effectively established and maintained. Ensure the program is prepared for FACT Accreditation and is able to maintain good standing with third party payors. Collaborate with clinical and research staff in these and related tasks. May need to travel for training sessions provided by accreditation organizations.
