The Registered Nurse performs professional nursing care to assigned patients. Assesses patients, develops and documents nursing care and discharge plans, and prepares and administers medications and interventions. Supervises nursing attendants and ancillary staff in patient care activities.




  • Screen and educate patients regarding health needs.
  • Provide nursing assessments and nursing care.
  • Document information in the medical records in an accurate, complete and timely manner
  • Coordinate with Physicians and other clinicians the clinical care delivered
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • NY state registered professional nurse and current registration to practice in New York as an RN required
  • Prior experience working in a primary care setting preferred
  • At least 3 years clinical experience is preferred
  • Interest working with psychiatric patients is essential for the position
