The department of Medicine seeks full-time Respiratory Therapy Technologist (Pulmonary Function Technician) to join their team.  Under close supervision of a licensed respiratory therapist and/or licensed physician, the pulmonary function laboratory technician performs a variety of pulmonary function studies and tests (spirometry, plethysmographic lung volumes, diffusing capacity, inspiratory and expiratory forces) completely and efficiently in accordance with the American Thoracic Society (ATS) standards to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary disease.


Please note: This role will be required to conduct Pulmonary Function Tests primarily at the MAP practice, but will be required to provide PFT services at multiple locations as needed (MAP and Hutch II).     


Education/Skills required:

  • Associate's Degree preferred
  • One (1) year experience preferred
  • Certified Pulmonary Function Technician (CPFT) required; Registered Pulmonary Function Technician (RPFT) preferred.
  • BLS by the American Heart Association.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
