Under the direction of the manager or supervisor, associate prepares and run reports, prepares correspondence, update and maintain demographics and patient's records, orders office supplies, generate monthly reports.  Works with patients, medical staff, doctors' offices, administrative office staff, hospital ancillary departments to ensure excellent patient care and outstanding experience. This position requires strong customer service skills; knowledge of medical or equally complex terminology. Prioritizes assignments and organize office functions to ensure effective operations.  Experienced with handling a heavy volume of calls, responsible for greeting patients, complete and or update registration; schedule a heavy volume of appointments; actively collect co-pays and assist patients, nurses, doctors and all clinical personnel with clerical request. Familiarity with insurances and pre-authorization process a plus.  Associate must be able to provide compassionate care to unique patient population. In-depth knowledge of HIPPA guidelines and policy procedures.  Team-building skills and teamwork ability a must. Prioritizes assignments and organizes office functions to ensure effective operations. May lead and train clerical staff.


High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree a plus. Minimum 5 years front desk experience working in a dynamic doctor's office setting. Ability to type 55 wpm. Multi-tasking, excellent telephone skills, customer service, time management, organization, attention to detail, and professionalism. Bilingual a must. Associate will work 6 days a week, including Saturdays.
