Performs secretarial and routine administrative duties. Provides support to patients, schedules PAT testing and surgical procedures.   Manage the entire life-cycle of OR cases for assigned MDs. Responsible for general clerical responsibilities, planning, preparing required correspondence, organization of and scheduling of activities for the assigned providers. Prioritizes assignments and organizes functions to ensure effective office operations. 


High school graduation or equivalent. Three year of secretarial experience involving customer service or equivalent combination of training preferred.  Training in PC based automated word processing systems, PC or mainframe based database management programs.  Ability to type 55 wpm.  Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.  Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Previous experience in OR Scheduling preferred. Spanish required.
