The Senior HR Director/HR Business Partner is responsible for aligning Human Resources wtihin the organization.  This Human Resources professional will work with operational leaders to influence strategy, maximize workforce capabilities, and advance key organizational goals.  He/she serves as a consultant to management on human resources related issues. He/she will proactively align the specialty areas of human resources, tapping into their expertise with the business unit/campus to develop and drive integrated solutions.  The Sr. Director formulates partnerships across the human resources function to deliver value-added service and counsel.  He/she maintains a high level of business literacy about the business unit/campus' financial position, its' plans, its' culture, its'competition, its' goals and its' focus on the patient experience.  There is active involvement in planning for organization initiatives, and staying abreast of Human Resources trends in the marketplace.  The Sr. Director consults with management on handling changing staffing requirements, employee relations issues and associates' needs.  He/she will serve as a consultant strategist for the following areas: rewards and recognition, performance managememt, discipline, recruitment and retention, and Human Resources transactions.  Master's degree required, concentration preferred in Human Resources Management, Education, Psychology or Business, as well as experience in Healthcare.  Minimum of seven years of experience required with demonstrated client focus and collaboration skills. Strong Labor Relations, EEO/AA, diversity, and Human Resources Regulatory knowledge and experience preferred.  Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills necessary. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
