The Senior Project Analyst will oversee operational, technical and financial management teams through planning and implementation of Revenue Cycle improvement projects to reduce outstanding AR, improve cash collections and realization of efficient workflows for both Hospital and Faculty Practice. Operational leadership is accountable for ensuring the success of revenue process automation and quality improvement initiatives.


The successful candidate must have the following:


  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide, direct, train and interact with management on a regular basis
  • In-depth knowledge of the complete healthcare revenue cycle
  • Conceptualization of new workflows, procedures, development of project plans to ensure objectives and timelines are accomplished
  • Mastery of standard EDI transactions (270,271,277,278,835,837)
  • Collaborate with a operation and technical resources effectively
  • Proficiency in Real Time Eligibility with a focus on reduce denials and delays of payment
  • Mastery of  all EPIC Revenue Cycle modules (Cadence, Prelude, HB, PB and Tapestry)

Education/Skills required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Health Administration required, Masters preferred.
  • Five to ten years’ work experience required in the following areas:
    • Revenue cycle management
    • EPIC experience
    • Educational training development
    • Management in a healthcare environment
    • Process design and integration
  • EPIC Certification or Credential in EPIC Resolute HB, EPIC ADT Prelude strongly preferred
  • Industry certification from HFMA or AAHAM preferred
  • Understand principals of organizational redesign and problem solving practices
  • Excellent communications, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to measure and assess training needs
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to design and implement training aids
  • Strong working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of all aspects of third party reimbursement policies and practices
