The Supervisor Billing will assist the Financial Administrator in managing all fiscal issues for the division including but not limited to assisting the Fiscal Services Administrator in billing and collections relating to Medicaid, third party insurance and GPC. Supervise the activities of a designated administrative function to support operational goals and objectives. Schedule, assign and monitor the work of staff.


•    Prepare and submit weekly billing files to Medicaid, Third Party Payors and Managed Care Plans
•    Distribute daily denials and errors to billing staff to be completed
•    Liaison between the Business Office and clinics relating to coverage and billing issues
•    Train and manage billing staff to maximize collections and minimize denials. Hold staff meetings to disseminate information and work with billing staff daily to address questions / issues
•    Review and supervise Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care and Third-Party billing and collections
•    Maintain good knowledge of billing guidelines for Oasas, DOH and CMS compliance
•    Review and supervise General Primary Care billing and collections
•    Review and distribute daily denials and errors to billing staff to be completed
•    Liaison between the Business office and clinics relating to coverage and billing issues
•    Review and ensure insurance issues are being handled by the clinics in a timely manner
•    Review and supervise General Primary Care billing and collections using EPIC guidelines for compliance


•    Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required, Master’s Degree preferred.
•    5 + years working experience
•    Must have specific knowledge of Medicaid Managed Care billing and Medicare Managed Care billing. Must be knowledgeable with all billing guidance from various agencies


This is a 100% grant funded position.
