SUPERVISOR MMTP COUNSELING

BRONX, NY, US


This position oversees the clinical operations of a team of substance abuse counselors.  The supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision to ensure that clinical and regulatory standards are met, leads the team's interdisciplinary team meeting, and facilitates integration of clinical services within the overall operations of the program.

Must be a Qualified Health Professional (QHP) and possess a license in Social Work (LMSW or LCSW), Mental Health Counseling (LMHC) or other clinical field.  CASAC preferred.  At least three years' experience.

Must have experience in training and supervising clinical staff.    Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.  Must be organized and able to work well independently.  Must possess the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Must demonstrate a knowledge of substance use treatment.  Must possess knowledge and experience with personal computers and electronic medical records.   Must have some experience with management of spreadsheets, including Excel.
