As staff to the quality management, peer review, and performance improvement processes within a designated Care Center and/or Service Line, the associate will perform case finding and analysis, provide QI committee support, and facilitate the conduct of studies and projects that will achieve Care Center/Service Line goals for cost, quality, and service. Programs required.Previous QM experience preferred. The individual will be self-motivated and have a track record of working effectively with physicians and other senior staff.  Bachelor's degree required.  NY State RN license required.

 

The individual must be able to analyze events of care and identify potential quality issues and should be knowledgeable regarding performance measurement and improvement for multiple committees.  The associate must be able to establish priorities and to perform multiple duties affected by frequent change. In addition the individual must be able to write and present reports and findings and conclusions in an accurate, succinct and organized manner.  Logical, analytic and deductive reasoning skills are required.  The individual must demonstrate competence in mathematics and basic statics.  S/he must be attentive to detail and be able to adhere to work schedules.  If not currently competent in Microsoft Office Programs, i.e..  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access,the individual must become so within six months of employment.
