The Assistant Director performance improvement will assist QM and OMD leadership with the identification, investigation, analysis, trending and recognition of performance improvement projects that result from adverse event / near miss cases.  Proficient in the ability to examine systematic processes that underscore events and explore the shared accountability between human error and system design/collaboration.  Implement sustainable corrective actions and monitor effects of change.  Provide PI support and education to QM staff as it relates to process improvement.  Will perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred.Five years experience required. Proficient in Microsoft Office (experienced Excel), Statistical process control software (preferred), PI experience (Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA cycles)

Registered Nurse, Physician's Assistant , Nurse Practitioner or MD with related licenses. CPHQ or CPPS certification preferred. Must be able to use a personal computer and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (focus on Word and Excel).
Organized project management skills and utilize researched tools to present project initiatives and PI analysis.  (can use industry standard tools). Statistical control analysis; proficient in varied statistical design databases.

3-5 years in working in clinical setting, and experience with use of PI tools and their applicability in the health care setting.
