The Curriculum Developer  (Instructional Designer) designs and develops innovative and effective role-based training materials in multiple modalities to support Montefiore's system-wide education.   Curriculum developers will support multiple initiatives across the organization including but not limited to ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementation and post go-live.  This individual undertakes sophisticated projects that require the skills normally found in multi-disciplinary teams including creative, technical, and content specialists. Deliverables include instructor-led and virtual instructor-led curriculum, online (eLearning) courses, tutorials, simulations, games, videos, exams, assessments, job aids, reference materials, and other learning activities. This individual consults with the training team, functional and technical subject matter experts and other key stakeholders to design engaging role-based training content built on adult learning principles that adheres to standards for consistency and quality. The Curriculum Developer analyzes learning needs and recommends appropriate interventions for a variety of roles in Finance and Supply Chain, Enterprise Asset Management, Human Resources, and Talent Management, Clinical Education and Compliance Training, Leadership and Professional learning programs. Additionally, this individual conceptualizes and develops evaluation measures, identifies and stages data in the training environment, and manages and mitigates any issues or risks that could delay on-time delivery or affect the quality of training materials.



 Minimum education Bachelor's degree in related field. Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of instructional design experience with demonstrated knowledge of instructional design methodology (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective and engaging classroom-based and online learning activities. (Work samples will be requested.)
- Proficiency with common eLearning authoring tools and web development software such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate. 
- Experience facilitating classroom-based training preferred.
- Experience with a major ERP system or other enterprise-wide technical application preferred.
- Experience with LMS (Learning Management Systems).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Solid project management experience. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; ability to set and  meet project deadlines
- Ability to work with internal clients in a consulting capacity. Ability to lead peers on projects or team initiatives.
