PHYSICIANS ASSISTANT I

To expedite patients throughout Radiology in a timely fashion with primary focus in Emergency Room Catscan and Direct Radiology Imaging (ED) room and MRI department. Responsible for self coverage on a 24/7 basis. Inpatient management and emergency department facilitator. Obtain relevant history, perform a complete or focused physical exam and procures; previous diagnostic testing results. Emergency treatment of any/all contrast adverse reactions resulting from IV administration of same, including follow up. Occasional Interventional procedure participation in the monitoring and care of acutely ill patients.
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a graduate of an approved PA program.
Licensed and registered in NYS.
Must pass National Certification Exam and must pass National Recertification Exam every six years.
Must obtain 100 credits of approved CME every two years.
