Under the supervision of the Associate Administrator / Unified Administrator, Operations Manager for OBGYN and Women's Health, the Supervisor of Operations, is responsible for supervising staff directly involved in clinical operations for all specialties and subspecialties provided at the site. Supports the department's mission through supervision and support for all non-clinical staff directly connected to the provision of clinical services on a day-to-day basis, while ensuring patient health care needs are satisfactorily met. Continuously monitors staff to identify and address potential issues that may impact operations and patient access to care. Provides support to the Operations Manager/ Site Administrator in staffing matters such as training and discipline. Continuously evaluates the site to address compliance matters in accordance with internal and external regulatory agencies including Joint Commission, HIPAA, Infection Control, Professional Services, and Environment of Care, and monitors adherence to corrective action plans. Will cover at alternate locations as needed. 



  • HS Diploma required, Bachelor’s preferred 
  • Five years of experience 
  • Understanding of health care and/or private practice operations required; strongly prefer experience with OBGYN and Women's Health  
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Knowledge of Governmental and Commercial insurance payors, including referral and authorization requirements for labs, diagnostics, surgical procedures, and obstetrics.  
  • Understanding of the front-end processes that drive the revenue cycle with specific regard to clean claims.  
  • Excellent customer service skills with an understanding of customer service concepts for the difficult patient.  
  • High level of interpersonal skills with an ability to interact effectively with Administrators, physicians, and staff.  
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory compliance rules such as those governed by Joint Commission 
  • Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.  
  • Experience in EHR and patient Management Systems such as Epic.  
  • Knowledge of office procedures and clerical duties.  
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills
