DATA ANALYTICS AND REPORTING SPECIALIST

TARRYTOWN, NY, US


Data analytics and reporting manager will be responsible for accurate data collection, processing, modeling and analysis via successfully managing people and processes. The ideal candidate should have analytical skills for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and should possess the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our organization. He/She will work closely with leaders across all functions to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions while  ensuring data accuracy and consistent reporting via designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for analytics / reporting team  to follow. He/She will ensure using advanced data modeling, predictive modeling and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes. The right person for the job will apply exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams and business units. 

 

Education/Skills:

 

Bachelor's Degree.  Minimum 5 years of experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data. Certifications preferred . Strong programming skills with querying languages: SLQ, SAS, etc.
Experience with big data tools: Teradata, Aster, Hadoop, etc.
Experience with testing tools such as Adobe Test & Target Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Raw, chart.js, etc.
 Experience with Adobe Analytics and other analytics tools
 C, C++, JAVA, or other programming languages
 Good knowledge of the principles, practices, equipment and terminology associated with strategic sourcing, materials management, product standardization and value analysis in a healthcare setting
Good knowledge of GPOs, RFPs and purchasing contracts 
Good knowledge of information sources for staying current on industry news and trends

 Working knowledge of clinical practices, patient safety initiatives and clinical procedures
