Strategic revenue cycle position responsible for successful implementation and optimization of key revenue cycle systems and revenue cycle operations.  Oversees revenue cycle operations team with responsibilities for quality assurance, training, reporting, process improvement, vendor management and project management.  Also has responsibility for  EPIC Contract Management, Contract Modeling and Treks eligibility & insurance verification processing for the Health System, as well as state regulatory reporting, electronic data interchange, vendor support services, centralized Clarity reporting, and centralized EPIC revenue cycle systems maintenance. 



• Graduation from a college or university with a Master's Degree in Health, Public or Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or closely related field preferred and 15 years of leadership experience in the revenue cycle function in a hospital, nursing home or physician practice; 
• Knowledge of all Revenue Cycle Applications and Hospital Financial Accounting principles
• 5+ years of applicable EPIC Revenue Cycle experience including Epic Revenue Cycle Implementations.  
- Certifications or credentials in EPIC Resolute HB, EPIC ADT Prelude, RHIA, HFMA or AAHAM preferred

 Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations and policies as they relate to the financial operation of a large academic medical center; thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of patient registration, billing, accounts receivable and cash management in a integrated delivery system.
• Reimbursement methods of primary payers with thorough knowledge of requirements relative to coding, charging and billing; Working knowledge of CPT-4, HCPCS, Revenue Codes, and ICD-10 CM.
• Knowledge of how to work within the care delivery system to deliver integrated quality care and in contain costs; demonstrated ability to develop creative, workable strategies and tactics to accomplish goals and objectives
• Revenue cycle planning, implementation and evaluation of financial systems and procedures.
• Analyze and resolve problems; manage multiple priorities; prepare reports; organize, direct and evaluate work of assigned staff; utilize a variety of electronic software applications including hospital financial management systems; 
• Initiative; tact; confidentiality; dependability; resourcefulness

10+ years of work experience with revenue cycle management process design and integration
5+ years of applicable EPIC Revenue Cycle experience including Epic Revenue Cycle Implementations.  
5+ years experience educational training development
