The Senior Manager Benefits is responsible for the strategy, design and implementation of benefits programs aligned with the organizational business strategy. This position will provide thought leadership around the strategic direction and design of these programs as well as drive changes necessary to move towards best practices, improve processes, and effectively engage all stakeholders, including department leaders, associates, brokers and vendors. 




Bachelor Degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
Five (5) to seven (7) years proven experience in benefits plan design and management. 
Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) Designation or World at Work certification a plus.

Experience with HR systems and Microsoft Office suite of products.
Demonstrated ability to develop/build overall benefits strategy and execute against long-term goals.
Extensive experience with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, DOL and applicable IRS regulations related to plans. 
Detail-oriented work style with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and get along with diverse personalities.
Comfort and experience in handling a variety of projects simultaneously in a fast-paced business environment. 
Proven skills in negotiations.   
Some inter-campus travel required.
