SR BENEFITS SPECIALIST II

TARRYTOWN, NY, US


 

 

This positon is responsible for  benefit administration to assure effective coordination with and support of system wide benefit plans .Presents and provides counsel regarding benefits plans provisions and options to assure that active, retired associates and COBRA participants receive quick and correct responses to their concerns, complaints and have their benefits problems resolved promptly. Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Benefits, the incumbent prepares written procedures, undertakes benefits projects and collects data to respond to requests from senior management, auditors, governmental agencies and consultants. ADP Confidential Payroll -Primary responsibilities-  Enter and update all Master data in ADP and HCM -new hires, transfers, on-going  updates (address, tax withholdings, etc.). Back up support - Report configuration and  distribution   

 

Education/Skills:

 

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience plus 2 - 4 years HR Benefits experience.  Incumbent must be capable of dealing with the pressure of potential multiple priorities yet respond to associates and other professionals and with equanimity. Knowledge of ERISA and  state regulations regardng health and welfare plans. Presentation skills, advanced  Microsoft Office  Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills. Must be analytical, flexible and discreet.
