We are seeking an EPIC Cupid Application Analyst to join our fast-paced, ever-learning and collaborative Cardiovascular and Nutrition Systems (CVNS) group. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, have a thirst for learning and will be a committed team member. This is a challenging and rewarding position offering tremendous growth in a upbeat team atmosphere. CVNS team also owns and supports ancillary cardiology systems such as ISCV, MUSE, Lifewatch, Maclab, Medstreaming, Apollo, Pedcath and the analyst will be working side by side with these systems as well.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Interface between the departmental users/clients across Montefiore Health System
  • Provide day-to-day operational support, advanced application troubleshooting support, coordinate modifications and updates, recommend improvements and increase efficiencies, provide pro-active monitoring & maintaining accurate and current documentation for Epic CUPID and other CVIS (cardiovascular information systems) applications provided and or supported by the CVNS Team (Cardiovascular and Nutrition Systems Team)
  • Assist with coordination of vendor activities including software installation
  • Test new systems, version upgrades, interfaces and other system modifications
  • Provide 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support on a rotating basis
  • Provide assistance to other team members as necessary. Encourage, assist, and foster development of co-workers' skills and proficiency
  • Maintaining accurate and current documentation regarding systems/applications provided and or supported by the CVNS Team
  • Travel/commute throughout all facilities within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and other Montefiore IT clients, as needed



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • EPIC Cupid Certified
  • Prior Epic Cupid build experience is strongly preferred
  • EPIC Data Courier knowledge is preferred
  • Knowledge of the workflow associated with either Radiology or Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology
  • Willing to learn and work on other Cardiology systems supported by the team
  • Passionate about the IT service you are providing to the clinical users and its impact on patient care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with customers, vendors peers and management
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations

  • Rotational commuting throughout all facilities within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and other Montefiore clients, as needed
  • Meeting all requirements for EPIC certification is a condition of employment



  • Knowledge of cardiology workflows
  • Experience with any of the following is preferred:  Apollo,  ISCV, Xcelera, PedCath, PaceArt, GE MacLab/CardioLab, MUSE, CBORD and Medstreaming
  • Additional certification/proficiency in any EPIC clinical module, especially OpTime or Radiant
  • Understanding of DICOM, HL7, IHE and other health related standards
  • Troubleshooting Cardiology Modalities, US, Fluoroscopy, IVUS, etc.
  • Experience working with vendors
  • Programming or other technical skills
  • Application implementation, troubleshooting, testing, and support experience
  • Project Management skills (ability to lead meetings, present information, prioritize, resolve conflict, maintain issues list, and manage a project plan).
