Engagement Manager Revenue Cycle

 

Engagement Manager Revenue Cycle serves as the primary liaison between clinical departments and the central billing office and manages the daily activities for a designated administrative function. Prepares and monitors the budget, implements policies and procedures, and monitors program outcomes. Supervises, trains and evaluates professional and support staff.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify revenue opportunities in all aspects of the revenue cycle, creating project plans, and implementing operational and systematic solutions
  • Provide analysis of financial data to assist management, department administrators and Chairs
  • Create professional revenue budgets for client departments
  • Primary focus is identifying revenue opportunities in all aspects of the revenue cycle including; Registration, Charge Capture/Reconciliation, Charge Edits, Denial Management, and Write-offs
  • Prepare and deliver monthly presentations to clinical department Chairs, Administrators, Finance Directors on key performance indicators; Performance to budget, A/R Days/Aging, Charge Lag, Unsigned Encounters, Denial Rates
  • Create, run, and analyze AR reports identifying commercials and government denial trends, reporting findings and results to identify and drive process improvement within claims follow up teams
  • Collaborate with clinical departments and Professional Services Analytics team to develop accurate revenue budgets
  • Develop and present tailored supplemental metrics to support provider productivity performance
  • Respond to patient complaints in a timely manner
  • Analyze and report any consistent trends in patient billing inquiries to clinical department leadership

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Revenue Cycle in healthcare industry
  • Strong working knowledge of application required
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Experience with EPIC strongly preferred
