The team includes Application & Clinical Analysts, Business Intelligence Analysts, Access & Revenue Cycle Analysts, Credentialed Trainers, Instructional Designers, Software Engineers, and their management. This elite organization takes pride in having completed our initial Epic implementation fully half a year ahead of schedule.


Population Health initiatives are a focus for Montefiore. We are seeking an Application Analyst on our Epic Care Connect team to support Epic implementation, community networks, growth and partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for mastering several Epic products. The Application Analyst work may involve: 


•    Epic  MyChart
•    EpicCare Link
•    Epic Care Everywhere
•    Epic Haiku
•    Epic Canto
•    Telehealth Solutions

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS
•    A minimum of 1-2 years working in a related clinical technical position
•    Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in Application Builds and Go-live, along with extensive experience in implementation, workflows, troubleshooting, testing, and support experience
•    EPIC Certification is preferred * - MyChart, EpicCare Link, Care Everywhere or/with preferred Ambulatory or Healthy Planet (* if candidate does not have upon hire, a certification in Epic will be required within 3 months of start date)  
•    Strong desktop skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
•    Knowledge of clinical area or business area to be supported
•    Programming or other technical skills beneficial
•    Experience dealing with end users
•    Demonstrative understanding of technical documentation
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Professional written and verbal communication skills
•    Strong knowledge of workflows
•    Excellent critical thinking skills

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

•    Install new applications, new components, and upgrade existing applications. Configure application settings.
•    Define go-live and rollout support schedule. Assist in the coordination of field support activities. Provide go-live and rollout support.
•    Support users on new applications, modules, and functionality.
•    Perform analysis of necessary application modifications and work with the appropriate Montefiore IT associate or the vendor to coordinate the modification.
•    Determine how a new system, upgrade, or new component can best meet the needs of the users: 
•    Analyze business/clinical needs and requirements.
•    Interpret end user requirements, by fully discussing potential options, and help client move towards optimal solution.
•    Evaluate the operational workflow that is applied to the system.
•    Create system specifications from user requirements.
•    Create test plans and test new systems, version upgrades, and any system modifications.
•    Document all outcomes of testing. 
•    Application implementation, troubleshooting, and support.

 

Analyzes complex business or clinical problems to be solved withautomated systems. Prepares detailed requirements specifications andprovides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developingsystems and procedures that meet user requirements. Performs workactivities within each phase of the project life cycle.
