The Product Manager position requires Epic Certification.

 

We are seeking a Product Support Manager to join our fast-paced, ever-learning, and collaborative Epic & Systems Support Team. The ideal candidate will be a diligent manager with strong customer service skills, able to lead through change, and Montefiore’s expanding Health System. This is a challenging and rewarding position offering tremendous growth in an upbeat team atmosphere. The Epic & Systems Support Team provides support for Epic and Third-Party systems such as Dragon, GE Centricity Perinatal, EPCS, etc. and continues to scale as the Montefiore Health System grows. The Product Support Manager and the Epic & Systems Support Team will provide on-going support and maintenance for designated systems.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Provide oversight for day-to-day Service Manager Incident and Request queue support, advanced application troubleshooting support, recommend improvements & increase efficiencies and provide pro-active monitoring
  • Interface between MIT departmental System owners/clients across Montefiore Health System
  • Provide vendor oversight for support activities and contract management
  • Delegate resources and support for testing, version upgrades, project work and other duties as needed
  • Provide management support for 24 x 7 on-call coverage for user support
  • Provide mentorship, encouraging growth and development of associates skills and proficiency
  • Provide onsite support throughout all facilities within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and other Montefiore Member sites as needed  
  • Resource management which includes annual performance appraisals, one on one development, and assessment of skills and strength
     

REQUIRED:

  • Epic certification in any Epic module and on-going certification maintenance requirements (CEE, NVTs etc.)
  • IT Department team management experience 
  • Strong technical and industry experience
  • Excellent decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-through
  • Experience with IT Infrastructure and troubleshooting with multidiscipline teams
  • Managing others including employee selection, performance management, delegation, and motivating and rewarding others
  • Overall understanding of the application systems development lifecycle
  • Industry experience either working in or supporting a client community
  • Estimating level of effort for application support activities and project work
  • Passionate about the IT service you are providing to the clinical users and its impact on patientcare
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with customers, vendors peers and management
  • Able to utilize technology for reporting metrics and analytics
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Provide onsite support throughout all facilities within the Montefiore Medical Center hospitals and other Montefiore Member sites as needed  
     

DESIRED:

  • Experience with Epic Systems and supporting all modules
  • Experience working with IT vendors
  • Programming or other technical skills
  • Project Management skills (ability to lead meetings, present information, prioritize, resolve conflict, maintain issues list, and manage a project plan)

 

EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree OR Relevant Work Experience
